Only Nationals of the 179 Countries who are residing in the same countries can apply for the Pakistani Visa through Pakistan Online Visa System. Applicants will be called for an interview if required at the Pakistan Missions Abroad in the same country.

There are different Visa Categories under which the applicant can apply for Pakistani Visa. All Visa Categories are displayed at https://visa.nadra.gov.pk/visa-categories– Please read through the description of categories carefully before applying to make sure that you are eligible.

For Extension: Please make sure that you have a valid Pakistani Visa and are residing in Pakistan as well. How to pay a fee? The payment of Fee is integrated with the application – Applicant can pay via a Master Card or Visa card. The applicant can also calculate the fee against the application submitted by using the Fee Calculator available on the website https://visa.nadra.gov.pk/fee-structure/

 What is Visa on Arrival? The applicants can apply under two categories for Visa on Arrival: Visa on Arrival (Tourist) Applicant must apply to submit their intent to travel 48-72 Hours Prior to Travelling Applicants can apply by following the Application Guide available at

Required Documents: Photograph Passport Invitation Letter by the sponsor or hotel booking details in case of individual tourist Invitation Letter in case of a group by the tour operator designated by the department of tourist services Upon submitting Application, the applicant will receive Electronic Travel Authorization on the email address provided by him within 48-72 Hours if the application is approved Using the Electronic Travel Authorization, the Applicant can travel to Pakistan and can seek Visa on Arrival from the FIA Counter Visa on Arrival.

(Business) Applicant must apply to submit their intent to travel 48-72 Hours Prior to Travelling. Applicants can apply by following the Application Guide https://visa.nadra.gov.pk/downloads/application_guide.pdf

Required Documents: Photograph Passport Proof of registration of the company which is extending the invitation (SECP/ Chamber of Commerce Certificate) Any of the following: Recommendation letter from CC&I of the respective foreign country Invitation letter from business organization duly recommended by concerned trade organization in Pakistan Recommendation letter by the honorary investment counsellor of BOI/Commercial Attaché. Upon submitting Application, the applicant will receive Electronic Travel Authorization on the email address provided by him within 48-72 Hours if the application is approved Using the Electronic Travel Authorization, the Applicant can travel to Pakistan and can seek Visa on Arrival from the FIA Counter

Which Travel Documents are generated via the Pakistan Online Visa System? If the application of the applicant is approved then the applicant receive following two travel documents generated via the Pakistan Online Visa System using which the applicant can travel to Pakistan: Visa Grant Notice: This document is essentially the Visa granted against your application Electronic Authorization to Travel (ETA): This document (Emailed to the applicant) is generated against applications made under the Visa On Arrival categories. Electronic Authorization to Travel (ETA) is NOT the Visa – It merely Authorizes the Applicant to travel to Pakistan and Seek Pakistani Visa on Arrival at the Visa On Arrival Counter of FIA

Details of accompanying members provided by the applicant in the application are sought for general processing protocols. Please Note that Information provided of any accompanying member(s) is NOT to be considered as visa application of that particular member and will NOT result in the issuance of the visa in their favour – Each accompanying member(s) has to submit their own separate application.


An applicant can make a single application on an individual passport at a time – However, through the application portal, multiple applications can be made for different individuals.
