How to apply for online E-visa of Pakistan?

Important Note:  Beware of the fake websites of Pakistan e-visa, ivisa which you may come across during google search. Such fake websites must be avoided.
National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) is the only official designated authority of Government of Pakistan to maintain the official Website of  Pakistan Online Visa System (POVS), which  is as under:-

Let us guide you how to apply for Online Visa / E-Visa of Pakistan:-

1. Click on the official NADRA website:  https://visa.nadra.gov.pk/
You will see the following screen:-

Click on  left side Continue button of the blue warning  flyer/sign of "Attention".

3.  You will land at the following screen:-

Before starting your online application, carefully check whether your country is eligible for Pakistan Online visa service.
Pakistan Online Visa System is now open for the citizens of  175 Countries! Moreover, citizens from 50 Countries are eligible to apply for Visa On Arrival under Tourist Category and the citizens from 95 Countries are eligible to apply for Visa on Arrival under Business Category.
Note: Visa cannot be claimed as a matter of right and issuance of visa is the discretion and prerogative of the Government of Pakistan, exercised through designated authorities and diplomatic Missions abroad. Applicants must plan travel only upon receipt of a valid visa or Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) whichever is applicable.

Scroll down the page and you will see Apply Now button, Click on that Apply Now Button and then you will move to the next page.

4.  Next you will see the following page of the website:

5. When you Click on the Apply Now button of the above screen, you will go to the following screen:-

Fourth view

The above screen will give you two options:-
  a. Create a New Account  or b. Log in with Existing Account
If you are applying first time and did not create account before, simply create account. Once you create your account , then repeat step 1 to 5 above and you will again land on the Fourth view of the online visa website screen.

6. After creating your account and repeating steps 1 to 5 and  clicking on the option of  Log in with Existing Account, you will land on the following web page:-

7.  After log in, you will see the following page of terms and condition:-

When you scroll down the above page, you will see the page of Terms and Condition as shown below in picture 6-B:-

Mark the dialog box and click on green button and accept and continue.

7.  Then you will proceed to next page of "Start online visa application. Here you will type the country of citizenship of which you hold passport. For example, a U.K. national is applying for online tourist visa, so he should type U.K. as nationality. See picture 7 below:-

8.     In the following page you have to give the category and purpose of visa. This is very important section and you must mention the correct category of visa. If you make a mistake, either your visa will be rejected or you will get a wrong category visa issued which cannot be corrected and rectified later on; and the visa fee is non-refundable. Thus you may both lose money and do not have a proper visa to travel on. So you must be very careful and very clear about the category of visa applying for . In this example, a U.K. national living in Sweden wants to apply for Tourist visa. Normally Tourist visa is always for single entry, only business, family, work, NGO, and Study visas are issued for long term multiple entries.
Important Note:  In the "application type", you must type/select Entry.  If you make mistake in this option, and you select extension, then your visa will directly go the concerned authorities in Islamabad, Pakistan. The option of extension is only applied if a person is already in Pakistan and he or she has a valid visa and want to extend that visa for stay in Pakistan. So that is why you should be very careful and always Select the option of Entry whenever you apply for visa from abroad outside of Pakistan. Some people make this mistake because they think that they had earlier a visa and visited on that visa but expired and now they want to apply for extension. So never make this mistake, and always select the option of Entry whenever you apply from outside Pakistan, no matter if you had earlier a visa and that visa expired or used.
