How to apply for Pakistani passport online around the world?

E-Services Portal is the front door to Directorate General of Immigration and Passports for online service for Pakistani citizens around the world. You can use e-Services Portal to apply for renewal of your Machine Readable Passport, if your passport has expired OR its validity is less than 7 months. IMPORTANT NOTICE: However, online applicants are hereby informed that all kinds of LOST AND MODIFICATION categories in passports i.e. changes in Name, father/spouse name, marital status, Date of Birth, Dual Nationality, profession, photograph, previous passport number and religion) are not permissible in the online passport application for renewal system under URL: https://onlinemrp.dgip.gov.pk/. Applicants are advised to visit their nearest Embassy/Consulate General of Pakistan for issuance of passports other than renewal category. New born children applying for Passport first time should also visit the nearest Embassy of Pakistan.

Q.  I tried to apply online for my Passport but my finger print was not accepted by the system, what should I do now?

A.   In such case you may contact the support team on the online portal and they will send you a letter by email giving you authority to visit the nearest Embassy of Pakistan to capture your finger. You do not need to pay again, your passport will be processed free of cost by adjusting your already paid fee. Keep in mind that you must get the authorization letter by email from Directorate General of Immigration and Passport.
